What’s the difference between ELAC and SSC?
• ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee): Advises the school on programs, resources, and services to support English Learner students and multilingual families.
• SSC (School Site Council): A decision-making council (parents, teachers, staff, and students) that shapes our school goals, approves the annual School Plan (SPSA), and guides budget priorities.
Meeting Schedule (Orientation + Elections):
We will start with a brief orientation to explain the roles, followed immediately by elections for both committees:
• 12:00 PM – ELAC & SSC Joint Orientation
• 12:30 PM – ELAC Parent Member & Officer Elections
• 12:40 PM – SSC Parent & Community Elections
